Cantaloupe by Capella

Description

Capella’s Cantaloupe Food Flavouring captures the juicy, sweet character of ripe cantaloupe. This refreshing food flavour concentrate brings a smooth melon profile to recipes where a bright, naturally fruity flavour is desired.

Cantaloupe works especially well across beverages, baking, desserts and confectionery. Use it in flavoured water, fruit drinks, lemonades, smoothies and other refreshing beverages. It can also add a juicy melon character to cakes, cupcakes, cookies, frostings, icings, dessert fillings, puddings and frozen desserts.

Cantaloupe pairs naturally with a variety of fruit flavours. Watermelon and honeydew can create a fuller melon combination, while strawberry, raspberry, peach and mango can add complementary fruit notes. Pineapple, coconut and other tropical flavours can take the profile in a more exotic direction. Lemon and lime can provide a bright citrus contrast, while vanilla and cream can soften the melon character for desserts.

Cantaloupe can be used as the main flavour in a recipe or combined with other food flavour concentrates to create more layered fruit, melon and tropical profiles. Its sweet, refreshing character makes it particularly useful for fruit beverages, smoothies, frozen treats, desserts, baked goods and confectionery.

Start with a small amount and gradually adjust according to the recipe and desired flavour intensity. The amount needed will vary depending on the other ingredients and the overall flavour balance you want to achieve.
