Sweet Watermelon by Capella

Description

Capella’s Sweet Watermelon food flavouring captures the juicy, refreshing character of ripe watermelon. Its bright fruit profile is well suited to recipes where you want a clean, summery watermelon direction, from refreshing beverages to sweet desserts and confectionery.

This versatile flavour works particularly well in beverages such as fruit drinks, flavoured water, smoothies and other refreshing creations. It can be used on its own for a straightforward watermelon profile or combined with other fruit flavours to create more layered combinations. Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, peach and other summer fruit flavours can complement the watermelon character, while citrus flavours such as lemon or lime can add a brighter contrast.

For baking and desserts, Sweet Watermelon can be incorporated into cakes, cupcakes, frostings, icings, fillings and other sweet creations. It can also bring a refreshing fruit note to frozen desserts, creams and other chilled treats. In confectionery, its juicy fruit character can be used in a variety of sweet recipes where watermelon is the desired flavour direction.

Sweet Watermelon can serve as either the main flavour in a recipe or as part of a broader fruit blend. Start with a small amount and gradually adjust according to the recipe and desired flavour intensity. The amount needed will vary depending on the other ingredients and the overall flavour balance you want to achieve.
